Located in Columbus County, Chadbourn is ideally situated between Wilmington, NC, Fayetteville, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC. The town is governed in a Council / Manager format and provides services to the town’s 2,125 residents.

The Town of Chadbourn Town Council, the employees of Chadbourn and I welcome you to our community. Chadbourn is proud of its small town atmosphere and its history. Our community has had some pain in the loss of agricultural, railroad and industrial jobs, but I truly believe that Chadbourn has brighter days ahead. The Town Council, Mayor and staff of Chadbourn are committed to responsible stewardship and improving the quality of life in Chadbourn.

The town's departments are ready to address the needs of all citizens. An excellent and attentive staff of dedicated employees strives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of each department, concentrating not only on special needs, but also the day-to-day lives of the residents of our town.
